My room is an awful mess?

Okay, so I have 5 brothers and sisters. One went off to college so it was just me and my sister sharing a room. We recently moved houses, and there is one less room because my brother moved out. Well, my sister (who is 17, very rude, disrespectful, doesnt care about college but is going in the fall, and thinks shes sooooo awesome) got her own room and im sharing with my sister (whos 15 and im 13) which I was okay with. We have shared a room our whole lives. But, my brother came back recently from.college and is visiting for a while. He was gonna get his own room so my sister had to share with us! My mom put another bed in our room! (me and my sister use a bunk bed thankfully) . So here we are, crammed in this room. My 17 yr old sis leaves her crap (clothes, makeup) everywhere, ans my other sister is becoming just as unorganized. I try to ask them to tidy up and they r always like "i dont care". To top it off my mom TORE OUT PART OF THE CARPET and my mom never finishes what she starts , so we are stuck with a huge hole in the carpet when you walk in amd a disasterous room! I camt have friends over and its not a comfortable place anymore. What should I do? Thanks!

My sound isn't working on my XP computer! Please help!?

So basically, I reformatted an old office computer we had, which is running XP Professional. I went to plug in a set of speakers, and nothing happened, no sound. There is not even a volume icon in the system tray because it is not reading a sound device. I checked the device manager, everything seems to be ok (drivers are ok, no alerts/exclamation points). So the device manager says everything is working properly. I even went into the BIOS and disabled, booted, rebooted, enabled the onboard audio, still nothing. The sound jack is part of the motherboard. When I go to control panel and then sound, it reads it as if there is no sound device. I know the speakers work because I used them in another computer, and I know the driver works because I used the same driver that it was already running prior to reformatting. I would also say it's a bad sound port, but this computer has jacks on the back and front, and neither work. Can anyone help? Thank you!!

I don't know how big your room is for space but maybe put up a bigish fancy mirror, if your wall still has a lot of space some canvas pictures (i don't know the colour of the wall either so pick a matchin picture, my wall is a shiny silver wallpaper and i have a black + white picture of new york up!) or put some shelves and cover with accessories. Add a nice rug and a beenbag or whatever you have room for with lots of cushions?

was let go after working 2 months was still in probationary period ,.But was aressted 6/14/11 on 2 counts felony that were dropped to misdermenors with no conviction yet waiting for prelim to get dismissed . after 06/14/11 2 weeks went by was let go 06/30/11 only thing said by my sper was failed to satify probationary period asked why since all i work with have had positive feedback he said due to this charge how would they know or do they get alerted by the system and my super said get things cleared and come back and see them if there is a opening he will see about rehire he said my work was good and i was liked . but my case is a misdermeanor not convicted

My hermit crab really needs to change shells but refuses too. Can someone help me?? :S?

I got my hermit crab a year and a half ago at a local pet store and continue to get them from there because they seem to be in good health. When i got my hermit crab (Howie<3) , the petstore employees said that he would/should change shells pretty soon. That was a year and a half ago and he never changed. I'm beginning to get worried. He has been very lethargic for the last couple months and really needs to molt too. I have placed him in the perfect conditions to molt and he still wont dig down to do it. But my main focus is the shell changes. Two of my newest hermit crabs (Eve and Valentino) have been changing shells alot (everytime i try to bring a new shell home for Howie). I have 7 shells in the tank he can choose from ranging in all different sizes. Are there any hermit crab experts out there that can help me? Im thinking that Howie will be happier and less lethargic if he got/had a better fitting shell. All help is greatly appreciatied. Im striking out figuring out something else i can try. I'm going to be 15 in August, and the last time I redid my room I was probably 11 or 12. I work on a decommissioned WW2 battleship. We have an overnight sleepover program, families and other groups spend the the night on the ship and sleep in the same bunks as the sailors did. There is one bunking area that is pretty much unknown, its the furthest bunking area at the front of the ship. that's where they made the non whites sleep because of segregation. There's about 300 hundred bunks in that section, and its much more practical to use that room for our overnight guests due to the way the program works. The upper management of the ship refuses to even open the room and have it on exhibit. Even though the racism and segregation of those days is a very negative time in American history, its still important to remember. Regardless of skin color they were all Americans fighting for the same cause and I think its a very reasonable idea to open that section and make a memorial. Does it seem like they are slightly racist or embarrassed of the past and want to sweep it under the rug?maybe forget it never happened on the ship.

I broke the fight up and chased Tito (neighbor's cat) off my property. Louie (my cat-age 8)) has lived indoors since we adopted him as a kitten and has never been allowed out to roam. He suns himself on the back deck or front porch/walk when permitted but comes right back inside. He is front declawed. He was diagnosed with a traumatic pneumothorax caused by punctures to his chest and nearly died Memorial Day weekend. Tito is known throughout the neighborhood as "mean" and routinely kills rabbits, chipmunks, squirrels and birds using just his jaws and back claws. He, too, has no front claws. I penny-pinched, refused over-night care x2, did IM antibiotic injections at home to save money after my cat's chest was tapped (surgical) for 175cc of air. Total -I visited the ER x1 and my vet office x2. My veterinarian ok'd my home care of Louie b/c I'm a peds nurse. We live in Ohio which has strict laws about dogs, but I can't find much about cats. I collected hair from the "scene" which includes my cat's gray hair and Tito's orange fur. Me and my 2 kids chased the cat away. I just broke my computer screen... a second time.?

Well if you want to hear my story a boy has the same one named ryan, he commited suicide and his stories like mine. It started off in 5th grade i was the class punching bag. I had no disabillity so i felt all the pain with nothing to screw with the sadness. I was picked on by everyone. I tried to prove myself as cool, a boy asked to fight me at his party so i came. He got everyone who hated me to be judges, when i won the fight they all said i lost. in six grade a boy named _______ was picking on me, he was a bad boy. When i got home from my bus he and his friends approched me. The kid was smaller so i thought i could win if he tried to atack me, he did. I got on top of him and pined him down trying to get some distance. he took off his shoe and started to atack. He kicked me in the noes while i was aming for his face. I was down, at school everyone laghed at me and called me names and took off their shoe and teased me. Later in the year we had a feild trip. We went to a place that had beds and bunks. The people who i was with war crazy bad boys. One night i was going to bed and three kids jumped me i tried to struggle out but i couldn't one kid was nuts and thought he was cool so he mooned me and started comming towrdes me with his moon.... then i stuggled out and ran out side. Everyone was searching for me and i listend in from the window. I heard the kids blaming it on each other. I walked back in and they said sorry and it wouldn't leave the bunk. after the feild trip at school everyone was talking about the boy who got butt _____ girls even teased me and that was a first time. Dog with dangerous tail?

basically, my friend got a call from her mum who found out that she was bunking and now she's scared to go home. I comforted her and started to tell her all the possible solutions but she didn't seem to care about it. She was just interested in saying how she hated her mother and how she "abususes" her and **** and saying that she was going to sleep on a park bench. Everyone feels sorry for her, and says that they feel soooo sorry because she's "abused". My step son is stealing from my house?

My partner and I have a 3 month old together. I also have a 16 year old and seven year old to my husband who passed away. My current partner has a 12 year old daughter to one woman, and a 11 year old son and 7 year old daughter to another woman. He has his kids over every second weekend and any other time the mothers ask him to, which lately has been most weekends. These kids are very poorly behaved. 2 visits ago the 11 year old boy was standing on the edge of the pool peeing in it and the 7 year old poohed beside the pool. Neither child was smacked, just told if they did it again they would be banned for a while. They run around my house all weekend. Make mess everywhere. Grab fresh towels for every swim and every shower. Only eat crap food. To the point where I really can't be bothered cooking for them any more cause they just say Yuk! and don't eat it. The very last visit they were going through my boxes downstairs, these boxes where sealed. I caught them and told them in no uncertain terms to stay out of them. I have my dead husband in an urn in one of those boxes and a heap of other valuables. I also have a presents box with new stuff I had bought on sale that is great for gifts. This box had been gone through. Again I said stay away from my things. The night after they left, I found tags from the new things in the box discarded on the floor and noticed that the items attached to these tags had disappeared. I told my partner and he rang his son and he had the items. He said my 7 year old daughter said he could have them, which I know is rubbish because she was the one that alerted me to them going through my stuff. My partner saw he had some of his stuff from downstairs when he was leaving but decided he could have what he had found of his. He asked him what else he had in his bag, and he said nothing. I should have insisted we check his bag but didn't. My partner believes that he hasn't done anything wrong because he believes my 7 year old said he could have my stuff. Forget that I said said stay away from my boxes and even asked him to reinforce that. I get so frustrated. These aren't my children, but this is my house. Shouldn't I have more control in my own home?

I heard some crazy stuff about the Marine Corps. I heard from one friend, he got out at like week 3 or something of recruit training, he said he dropped out cause the Drill SGT's or Instructors (I'm not sure what there called, I apologize) hit him like punched him in the head a few times, and threw him around the barracks, and a couple nights he said they came in while everyone was sleeping and tossed there bunks while they were still in them. And a lot of recruits got hurt and they just stood there laughing and yelling. Why did he not kiss me?

So the other day I was hanging out with the guy I like and his buddy. He kept putting random stuff on my head, so I told him I was going to move to the top bunk of his friends bed. Well when I did finally he moved up there with me. At first he was uncomfortable because the bar of his friends bed was against his back so I suggested he lay down. Well he laid behind me and I was in front of him laying on my side. He put his right arm around my rib cage and then he started to tickle my rib cage and when I would squirm he would pull me closer into him. He put his head in my neck and we were cuddling. Then when I put my face close to his, I had my lips like RIGHT in front of his but he wouldn't kiss me...I didn't know if he wanted me to make the move and he kept saying to smile for him cause he loved my smile. If your friend has trouble with he roommates she could switch with someone in your room rather than adding a sixth person. Or she could put her big girl panties on and learn how to get along with others. In any event, five is the maximum for your room's configuration. If you friend doesn't want to stay in the room with her own group and no one wants to switch with her, you will need to check with the hotel to see how much a sixth occupant will cost and make sure she pays her way.

Is ultravnc 1.10.24 (or some other numbers) a virus?

at first i thought it was a virus i made a copy of ultimate boot cd then i found it in the folder after i had already made 2 isos. so i scan the isos(that were already on the cd)and while it was scanning i saw a folder called ultravnc but i didnt c any ultravnc files and the two ativiruses i scanned the iso with didnt find anything(malware bytes,comcast anti spyware). ok so i deleted the folder ultravnc virus was found in(on my c: not the iso) and then later i found it again in my system volume folder. so i guess ultimate boot iso dosnt have a virus or does it.by the way there was virus that redirected me 2 freeze.com(on a totally different computer i was fixing) ok i know this is a virus site so i close the mozilla firfox browser and scanned using bootable isos so i got rid of alot of fake alerts and stuff(which i found strange since no fake alerts were popping up when i was on). Then it stopped redirecting me and just as a precaution i uninstalled mozilla firefox then reinstalled(because freeze.com was a toolbar i figured out). Then it said disabled in add ons menu and said it was compataible with the new mozilla and it also dosnt have a remove button next to its name like other add ons. Could it already be gone from the virus scans or is it still a toolbar and if so how do i go about getting rid of the toolbar.

I remember applying for a job as a waitress at a catering banquet hall, Valentino's on the Green.. without thinking I went to fill out an application without any prior research of the job. 3 year old son sick vomited once slight fever what could it be?

Facebook Chat for IPhone no alerts, sounds or vibration!?! HELP!?

Before the newest upgrade for the Facebook app on iPhone it would ding when someone messaged me through chat, now it doesn't do anything! I know they integrated the chat in with the 'email/message' portion of the app so I think technically if you don't get them they go to your messages, but neither happens! It doesnt make a noise or send an alert or put the message into my message folder. I open my facebook on my laptop and Ive missed DAYS worth of messages I never knew about :(

Homebirth / Hospital birth ?

We are more than likely having our twins abroad. The entire family (All of dads siblings, their kids & a few have grandkids) are staying at the family villa (Hotel they couldn't afford to keep building). We are going for Christmas. And fianc� is due Xmas eve. We were planning on having a homebirth at home. But now we're abroad. My Aunt Aisling is a Midwife, and my uncle Andrew is a doctor, so if we had a homebirth they could assist. But is she goes into labour late Xmas eve would it be disruptive, and the little kids might think Sants won't come because we are up (We get them to sleep saying Santa won't come if your not asleep). But we don't know where the hospital is. We'd find out, but my fianc� doesn't speak their language (I do, fluently). We want a home birth, should we? We could go to a room at the opposite end of the house (Away from the kids' room, where ALL the kids sleep because it's 5 rooms, knocked into 1 with a lot of bunks). So we wont disturb them.

Why does god throw all these challenges on my family?

I'm 18 and I live in Brooklyn in a harsh neighborhood. First I'll begin with my beliefs. When I was younger, I didn't believe in god even though I was baptized and christian born. Lately I've been feeling more spiritual with myself and even though I didn't believe in god, I still read about Christianities history and laws (due to my huge interest in history). Now, I don't fully believe in god (although I do believe in a single 'energy' up there) but I still follow many of his laws and try to keep my sins to a minimum (even small things such as not littering). I was always a kind kid always wanting to help people and just have friends and find love. However, because of the harshness of my area I was led to drug abuse and scams (although they weren't as extreme level as most of my surrounding people). I;ve been praying for my safety and my moms safety. In return, I had my car vandalized for $10,000 of damages (because of one of my friends actions), last week again all my tires were slashed (again because of something other people did) and I can't do much about it, even though I never meant the people that did this to me any harm or scams. On top of that, a year before, my dad had an affair with my mom and left us, took almost everything we had from us, and left us in bankruptcy. Its just me and my mom living in a rented apartment with low on money and my mom is trying extremely hard to find a job. She's been having health problems because of the seperation and her emotions are getting worse rapidly because she's losing hope of finding a job and our cash reserves are running very low and I pray for the best, mostly for my mom even before myself. In my junior high school and high school years, I never had friends and instead everybody would always make fun of me because I couldn't properly adapt, instead of partying I would stay home and read about politics, military, history, and music because those were my interests but everybody around me thought otherwise. I am a popular girl, in fact probably the most popular girl at my school, NOT BEING VAIN ! Cat is losing weight although he eats well?

My 11YO male cat has been losing weight since January. Blood work done reveals a very healthy animal! He has also been licking fur off and is bald on various parts of his body. He's active, alert, rambunctious...normal...but looks so skinny. Vet has done check up and everything seems normal. He may have a food allergy; vet says if he's not bleeding from the licking of fur we can leave him be...he does not recommend cortisone to relieve. He also urinates occasionally over the side of litter box. Kidneys are good. We have another cat, male. They've been friends for seven years.

My friends and i think that one of our good friends has been making up fake people, is she crazy?

ALSO, we've never seen pictures of them or have any proof of them. anyways, Megan ended up falling in love with this guy Jake, and he was suppose to come down from Ontario (where he supposidly lives) but everytime he was supose to come, there was an excuse. first it was because of his soccer camp, then he randomly had to go to New Orleans with his friend. he never ended up coming down. Megan was extremly depressed. This happened last summer, and now that me and my friends are in grade 11, we started brining it up again. we were going through all the little things that just quite didnt add up. we came to the conclusion that these "guys" were fake. i ended up confronting the girl who lived in the other city about it, and as soon as i asked her if they were real people, she turned beat red and was saying like "ohh..what do you mean? i dont understand". it was extremly awkward. that night, she apparently started throwing up and hyperventalating. she called my friend Megan saying how she didnt wanna be alone and that she was scared that she wasnt going to able to prove to us that they actualy existed. i can't mention all the details to this story, or else you'd be reading this for hours. at first i thought it was a virus i made a copy of ultimate boot cd then i found it in the folder after i had already made 2 isos. so i scan the isos(that were already on the cd)and while it was scanning i saw a folder called ultravnc but i didnt c any ultravnc files and the two ativiruses i scanned the iso with didnt find anything(malware bytes,comcast anti spyware). ok so i deleted the folder ultravnc virus was found in(on my c: not the iso) and then later i found it again in my system volume folder. so i guess ultimate boot iso dosnt have a virus or does it.by the way there was virus that redirected me 2 freeze.com(on a totally different computer i was fixing) ok i know this is a virus site so i close the mozilla firfox browser and scanned using bootable isos so i got rid of alot of fake alerts and stuff(which i found strange since no fake alerts were popping up when i was on). Then it stopped redirecting me and just as a precaution i uninstalled mozilla firefox then reinstalled(because freeze.com was a toolbar i figured out). Then it said disabled in add ons menu and said it was compataible with the new mozilla and it also dosnt have a remove button next to its name like other add ons. Could it already be gone from the virus scans or is it still a toolbar and if so how do i go about getting rid of the toolbar.

I would just take a short nap (about 30 mins should do) an hour before you leave to see the movie. That should do the trick! Since we moved into our home last July we have had several things go on that indicate there is something "non human" here. My sons bedroom is off the living room and several times when watching tv at night I had seen a shadow that looks human coming out of my sons room and around the corner into the dining room. One night my mother in law was visiting and I saw "the shadow" and my mother in law also looked up and asked "who's your friend"? She had also seen it. Since then my partner and brother in law has also seen it. My son has never complained about anything funny going on in his room but one night when his 3 year old sister fell asleep on his top bunk she woke telling me there was something in the closet. In the last few months my 3 year old has been waking up in the night crying (something out of character for her) saying she thinks there is something in the room. She also has started to refuse to walk through the dark rooms to get to the toilet (even though the toilet light in on) which is something that never used to bother her. Today my 6 year old girl (who shares a room with the 3 year old) says that she woke during the night and thought someone was spying on her. She said she could see a face at her door watching her and after she closed her eyes and re opened them it was gone. This is the first thing I have heard from her about it so its making me more concerned almost like whatever it is, is getting braver. My partner mentioned that he was once in the toilet (which is off the laundry) and the laundry door has shut itself. This has happened to me before as well. Once a top closet door by the laundry also flew off onto the floor. What can I do to find out what is going on and how do I stop it? Whats the deal with home blessings and things as such?
