CA security keeps saying update failed?

I have fire fox and ca internet security, it's alerting me that my virus signature is out of date, I click on "fix now" then it says "update failed". It still keeps alerting me to fix the problem, my computer seems to have a virus, and ca security is saying no threats are found. How can I get it to update?
