School classified position probationary period termination?

was let go after working 2 months was still in probationary period ,.But was aressted 6/14/11 on 2 counts felony that were dropped to misdermenors with no conviction yet waiting for prelim to get dismissed . after 06/14/11 2 weeks went by was let go 06/30/11 only thing said by my sper was failed to satify probationary period asked why since all i work with have had positive feedback he said due to this charge how would they know or do they get alerted by the system and my super said get things cleared and come back and see them if there is a opening he will see about rehire he said my work was good and i was liked . but my case is a misdermeanor not convicted
