How do i change my texting tone?

i recently got a Pantech laser and i would like to know how i can change the texting tone..NOT THE RINGTONE. i hate the dumb at&t default ring..how can i change it please help meee..i already checked in settings, alert tones, recorded songs, at&t music, etc. please helpppp!!
