I woke up to a shadow person, please help.?

My boyfriends house has a shadow walker in it. I've only seen it once, he's seen it numerous times and our best friend has seen it a few times. Always at night. It walks up and down the hallway and stops and stairs at the person sitting in the den. When I saw it it was just staring at me curiously. My boyfriend thinks its a protector ghosts, maybe a relative or something. No one has died in the house so we aren't sure where it came from. It never does any harm, its just there. Maybe thats what your shadow walker is as well. If you don't feel threatened by it, maybe it is taking care of you. Maybe try communicating with it somehow.
