Call the hotel and ask what their occupancy policy is. Two double beds and a pull-out couch sounds like sleeping arrangements for five people. Your parents' policy is very appropriate. If your friend has trouble with he roommates she could switch with someone in your room rather than adding a sixth person. Or she could put her big girl panties on and learn how to get along with others. In any event, five is the maximum for your room's configuration. If you friend doesn't want to stay in the room with her own group and no one wants to switch with her, you will need to check with the hotel to see how much a sixth occupant will cost and make sure she pays her way.
